About Apple’s iTunes Connect

Apple’s iTunes Connect 3.00/5 (60.00%) 2 votes

If you want to sell books on Apple’s iBookstore, you can deliver your content via a distributor like Smashwords, or set up your own account with Apple via this link. They have to approve all accounts before you get access — a process that may take a couple days. Then, after you enter all if your banking and tax information, contracts need to be issued, which takes a few hours longer.

Note for PC users: Currently, this method only works if you have iTunes Producer… which runs on a Mac with OS X 10.6 or later. If you use a PC, your only option is to upload via an aggregator, such as Smashwords, Lulu, Ingram, Bookwire, LibreDigital or INscribe Digital.

From the site:

Reach out to millions of potential customers by distributing your content on iTunes, the App Store, the iBookstore, and the Mac App Store.
